History:
Joyful Nursing began October 2, 2006. Joyful Nursing was begun
do to the 24 hour home health needs of a young lady by the name
of Joy, who due to an unfortunate accident in 2003 while
undergoing chemotherapy for leukemia became a quadriplegic.
Joy is a very positive 24 year old with three years of her four year
bachelors degree in nursing complete. Joy is determined to go
forward in life and refuses to let her disability get her down. Joy
was a resident of Germany for seven years and just returned to
the United States in August 2006. Joy requires 24 hour nursing
care and used a couple of different agencies but none were able to
produce round the clock nurses that she needed to help improve
her quality of life.
